After graduating from Cambridge University with a Masters Degree in Modern Languages, Frances joined the Commission of the European Union in Brussels as an international conference interpreter. For more than a decade, she worked to facilitate cooperation and communication within all the major international organisations and between the government and heads of state at their annual World Economic Summits. Her years spent negotiating at the highest level fostered her expertise in consensus creation and cross-cultural communication.
Frances, who is trained to perform under pressure, transferred her ability to master complex issues swiftly and her facility with languages to her ensuing career in radio and television broadcasting. It is precisely these skills which she employs when delivering high impact keynote speeches and hosting demanding conferences.
In her capacity as a businesswoman who has helped create a prestigious specialist construction company, Frances believes that outstanding customer service is based on clear communication and on cohesive, motivated teams. For her commercial success in this venture and for her efforts in promoting the interests of British female entrepreneurs in the UK and abroad, she was elected an Honorary Fellow of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
